Encouraging a love of books, which will grow into a love of reading is a vital part of parenting. A lot of children – and parents – become disillusioned by the uninteresting books they are presented with. How can we ask a child to enjoy a book about something they aren’t interested in? If they can’t read the words themselves and rely on parents/ siblings to express the story, the book also has to appeal to them.
